Liv Dawn is a folk-pop singer-songwriter from Loch Lomond, Scotland. Drawing inspiration from the stunning landscapes of her homeland, Liv creates songs that bring a sense of peace and connection to nature. Her lyrics, much like storytelling, captures the everyday experiences and emotions of life and relationships.
Having performed at acclaimed Scottish venues such as the Barrowland Ballroom, Saint Luke’s and King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Liv captivates her audience through her powerful vocals and intimate performances.
Liv was selected as a finalist in the prestigious BBC Radio Scotland Singer-Songwriter of the Year Award and has since played sold-out headline shows and festivals including Edinburgh Fringe, Skye Live, HowTheLightGetsIn, Belladrum and Eden Festival.
In Summer 2023, Liv released her debut EP Beautiful Daydream which received coverage from media including Amazing Radio, BBC Radio Scotland, The Scotsman, Northern Exposure Magazine and SNACK Mag. Boasting a wonderland of acoustic sound, Beautiful Daydream holds five highly personal tracks and explores growing up, love, chasing dreams and finding happiness.

In 2024, Liv had a busy year with numerous performances across the country. She started the year by performing at Celtic Connections and later had the incredible opportunity to support Tide Lines at the Barrowland Ballroom. Liv then joined Tide Lines on their Scottish ‘Homeward Bound’ tour, supported Skerryvore at Stirling Albert Halls and performed at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay.
In January 2025, Liv released her live EP Daydreams, recorded with her band to capture the energy and intimacy of her performances. Liv later recorded her new studio EP ‘Hopeful Wandering’, released on 17th October. With full band production, the EP fuses folk, rock, and country influences with her singer-songwriter roots. The tracks explore love, resilience, connection, and the small everyday moments that shape life, navigating adventure and the unknown with heartfelt honesty.

To support the release, Liv embarked on her first full band tour across Scotland – including Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oban, Inverness, Fort William, Mull, and Skye – as well as in England, performing in Bristol, Essex, and London. Liv also performed at festivals including ButeFest, Sound of Iona Music Festival, Fresh Ayr Folk Festival and The Reeling.
Hopeful Wandering has received strong media attention, with coverage from The Skinny Mag, Mystics Sons, Cage Riot, Folk & Honey, Lefuturewave, CLOUT, Illustrate Magazine and Tenement TV. Liv has also been featured on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Scotland’s The Arts Mix and Iain Anderson Show.
