Liv headlined The Hug and Pint in Glasgow on 8th December 2021!

Liv played her debut headline show at The Hug and Pint in Glasgow in partnership with Off Axis and Ticketmaster New Music. Off Axis is a not-for-profit touring network enabling bands to build a nationwide fan base by swapping gigs in 60+ towns and cities throughout the UK.
With support from two talented Scottish artists Megan Black and Kate Kyle, Liv performed with a full band and shared a collection of newly written songs.

Liv released her award finalist song ‘Welcome Home’ – listen now!
Liv released her finalist song for BBC Radio Scotland’s Singer/Songwriter Award ‘Welcome Home‘ in December. Welcome Home tells the tale of a friend returning home and wondering if they have changed. It is a song of personal growth, holding onto hope and Liv’s powerful vocals accentuate the genuine, emotive meaning beneath. Listen to Welcome Home here.
Liv attended Scotland’s first all-female songwriting camp!
Scotland’s first all-female songwriting camp was hosted by pop singer-songwriter Be Charlotte in March. Held at Dundee Botanic Gardens, Liv spent a two-day writing retreat alongside other great Scottish female artists including Zoe Graham, SHEARS, Fourth Daughter, Kohla, Stephanie Cheape, Scout, Becky Sikasa, Anna Sweeney and Chuchoter. Liv was selected as a finalist in BBC Radio Scotland’s Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award 2019!
The top 4 artists were Liv Dawn, Gus Harrower, Mike McKenzie and Scott Wallace. The live final, hosted by Deacon Blue’s Ricky Ross, was held at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow on 26th September 2019 and broadcasted live on BBC Radio Scotland.
Each finalist, coached by Davie Scott ahead of the show, were to perform an original and cover song in front of 5 judges – Karine Polwart, Horse McDonald, Fran Healy, Dee Bahl and Geoff Ellis.
